Position: Cook (Line, Grill, and Prep)
Location: Downtown Nashville
Shifts: 1st Shift: $17/hour | 2nd Shift: $17.50/hour
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Line Cooking: Execute precise and efficient cooking of menu items during service hours, maintaining quality and consistency.
- Grill Operations: Masterfully prepare grilled dishes to perfection, ensuring optimal flavor and presentation.
- Prep Work: Assist in food preparation activities including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow food safety guidelines, sanitation protocols, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations and timely preparation of dishes.
- Flexibility: Be willing to work either 1st or 2nd shift as needed, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen environment, with proficiency in line cooking, grill operations, and prep work.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Availability for 1st or 2nd shift, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
